Help needed! We have a goal to install as many as 20 raised beds on Saturday, May 4, 9am at the shelter (rain date: May 5, afternoon). We need a lot of help to make this happen!
Supplies needed
- 2500 feet of 2×10 lumber
- Hardware, including screws, etc and/or 20 corner sets
- 1300 cu ft of soil
- 160 cu ft of gravel (for the bottom of each bed)
- Landscape cloth
- Hardware cloth
- Deer proofing/netting
- Tomato, pepper, and bean seedlings
Help needed
- assembling the beds
- securing donations from businesses for various supplies
- offering supplies and/or tools that you might have on hand
- making monetary donations to Ayer ANSWER for us to buy supplies
